Work to improve US 127 in Pickett County will get underway this week.
TDOT Community Relations Officer Jennifer Flynn said the project will focus on improving the safety along some four miles of roadway. Guardrail enhancement, better visual signals, new pavement markings and improved signage all a part of the project.
The project will stretch from state road 295 to the Kentucky State Line.
Flynn said TDOT expects completion by June.
