Weather has delayed texture coating and pressure washing of the new Mine Lick Creek Road interchange along Interstate 40.
The exit opened several weeks ago with one lane of traffic over Interstate 40.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports contractors continue grading work along Lee Seminary Road, Tennessee Avenue and Highland Park Blvd. Contractors began installing base stone along Academy Road this week. Drainage work will continue along Heartland Lane and Mike Maxwell Road during the next week.
Workers replaced temporary pavement markers after weather had faded the old markings.
The project remains on schedule for completion next month.
