A 26-year-old Cookeville man has pleaded guilty and waived his right to trial and appeal for two counts of rape of a child.
Under the agreement, Jonathan W. Seals will serve at least four years of a 13-year prison sentence. He will also be required to register as a sex offender under lifetime supervision.
Court documents indicate that he could have served 15 to 60 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
