A head-on collision on Highway 127 North in Cumberland County has resulted in charges being issued to a man from Clarkrange.
Officials said the crash happened this morning when 43-year-old Daniel Fisher was driving a Dodge Avenger and attempted to pass another vehicle. Authorities said Fisher’s vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming Ford Mustang operated by Marian Stewart of Crossville.
Stewart had to be airlifted to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Fisher faces a number of charges including reckless driving, improper passing, and failure to exercise due care.
