A new police chief will be selected in Algood tonight.
Mayor Kirk Dyer said the city council will be choosing between Dale Armour and Jon Frazier.
“Both have extensive police work in their history and both gentlemen were the two finalist that were given to us through the MTAS search that was completed last month,” Dyer said. “We are very excited to name a new olice chief.”
Both Armour and Frazier have worked in law enforcement in the Middle Tennessee area.
Tonight’s meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. inside Algood City Hall.
