DeKalb County authorities charged a Smithville man with aggravated arson after he allegedly shot a flare gun into home occupied by a woman and a child last week.
A judge has set 20-year-old Daniel Lewis Dillard’s bond at more than a million dollars.
Officials said no injuries occurred during the incident, but the flare did cause damage to the home and interior items.
Dillard appears in court January 4th.
