TDEC will host a household hazardous waste collection in Cumberland County this weekend.
Any Tennessee resident can bring items like cleaning fluids, pesticides and batteries to dispose of properly. The collection will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cumberland County Complex.
Things that are flammable, toxic or corrosive are considered household hazardous waste and should not be placed with regular garbage.
