Sparta Completes Zoning For New School

Sparta’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen cleared the way for the new Findlay Elementary. The board unanimously approved a zoning change for the proposed site. The White County Board of Education intends to break ground this winter on the new school. The site is county property right next to the current school.

Upper Cumberland officials have announced that German manufacturer Hormann Group will be locating  in White County. The company manufactures doors, garages, door frames, and gates.
