Sparta’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold public hearings and final readings on two zoning ordinances at its regular meeting.
The first measure would rezone a property near Hale Street for the upcoming Findlay Elementary project. The county board of education has announced plans to build a new Findlay on county property adjacent to the current school.
The second ordinance would rezone a parcel on Grissom St.
The board will also consider a measure to adopt the International fire and building codes.
