A Tesla Supercharging station will soon open at Cookeville’s Jackson Plaza. Plaza representatives repeatedly refused comment, citing Tesla policies. Tesla is known for its all-electric vehicles. The company has begun offering more charging stations to meet demand.

Abandoned Building Burns In DeKalb

An early morning fire destroyed an abandoned home on DeKalb County’s Magness Road Monday. Firefighters said the blaze was reported shortly after 3 a.m. The cause of the fire was unknown at this time. Officials are investigating who owns the property and what started the fire.
