Hostage Situation False Report
An man has been arrested after an incident at a Cookeville hotel Wednesday morning. Jerry A. Lane, Jr., 47, was charged with false reporting, a felony. Cookeville Police responded to Willow Avenue’s Key West Inn for a reported hostage situation. Within an hour, police determined it had been a false report. No injuries were reported.
