Repair work on a DeKalb County bridge will begin Tuesday.
TDOT spokesman Jennifer Flynn said work on the South College Street Bridge will be complete by October.
Closures on U.S. 70 below the bridge will be necessary. One lane in each direction will be maintained.
The bridge has been closed since last June when a county landfill truck hit it and caused major damage. Three vehicles have hit the bridge in the last 14 months.
