A Cumberland County retirement community will soon be under new management.
Uplands Village Board of Directors approved a 3-year agreement with United Church Homes Management to operate the facility.
Under the agreement, Uplands’ executive director, nursing home administrator and controller will be employees of UCHM.
The agreement begins October 1.
Uplands Village has independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care and long-term care services for 275 residents on its 500-acre campus.
United Church Homes, based in Marion, Ohio, is a nonprofit, faith-based organization and one of the nation’s largest providers of senior living services.
