DeKalb County Home Total Loss After Fire

A DeKalb County home was destroyed by fire Sunday evening. The home, just outside Alexandria, was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene. They said it was a total loss. Nathan and Kim Hale lived in the home, but were at church when the fire began. No one was hurt in the blaze.

Two Found Dead In DeKalb County Sunday

Two people were found dead in a trailer in Smithville Sunday. The deceased have been identified as 51-year-old Douglas Ray Ferrell and 45-year-old Angel Dawn Ferrell. The state Medical Examiner’s office and the TBI reported to the scene, in addition to local authorities. No other information was released.
