Residents of Cumberland County’s Fairfield Glade will have another planned power outage Friday evening.
Volunteer Energy Cooperative said the power will go off at 11 p.m. Friday and be out for about 6 hours.
The power outage will allow workers to finish connections on the new line leading to the Fairfield Glade substation on Peavine Road.
Area Manager Bobby Randolph said the outage will be identical to the one that occurred in May.
