Warren County authorities are investigating reports of vandalism at the Viola Cemetery.
Authorities said the first vandalism occurred during the middle of July when someone knocked over several tombstones and dug a hole on top of a grave. The second incident happened last week when someone damaged or destroyed at least 24 headstones.
Witnesses reported seeing a Nissan Altima leaving the cemetery when the damages were discovered. Anyone with information about the incidents should contact the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
