Clay County Facing Property Tax Increase
Clay County property owners will be playing more taxes soon. The county commission has approved a resolution to surpass the state certified tax rate of $2.90. Clay County Commissioners have voted to set the rate at $3.10, which is a 6-percent increase from last year’s rate.
