Rep. Ryan Williams has been appointed to a new task force on health care certification.
The task force was created after a bill Williams sponsored became law. The bill requires a task force to look at the way health care providers are certified in Tennessee.
Williams was appointed to the task force by House Speaker Beth Harwell.
Williams said he was pleased to be appointed and hoped the group’s efforts would ensure patient safety and cut down on insurance claims and lawsuits.
