A former Clay County bail bondsman faces prison after pleading guilty to aggravated sexual battery of a child.
John Baxter Ashburn, 71, will serve six years in prison under a plea agreement.
Ashburn was arrested in 2015 on three charges including rape of a child. His bond was set at $250,000 at that time.
Two years later, Ashburn and prosecutors reached a plea agreement.
