A stretch of Interstate 40 in Putnam County could experience some delays Sunday night.
TDOT says crews will begin adjusting the barrier rail over State Route 24 in Monterey in the eastbound lanes. Officials say travel lanes will be split out in two single 11 foot wide lanes, which will restrict oversize commercial vehicles.
Oversize loads wider than 11 feet must use Exit 300 and Exit 301 in Monterey to continue eastbound.
The posted speed limit on I 40 in that area has been reduced to 55 MPH.
