Sparta Electric Plans Outages
Customers of the Sparta electric department may experience some power outages until July 30. Sparta electric employees plan to replace several utility poles and perform some upgrades on substations. The city plans to conduct the outages late nights and on weekends to minimize interruptions. Officials say the upgrades will make the system more reliable.
