Tennessee Tech’s freshman class may be larger than last year.

“Our number last year was 1,608, that was when we had the freshman class of ’16, the class of ’17 right now has hundreds more admitted than we had last year,” Gray said.
He was reluctant to give a number because enrollment is still going on. Tech enrolls students right up to the August. Also, all those enrolled may not show up.
Firm enrollment figures may not be known until two weeks after the term begins.
