The City of Cookeville has reported that crews have restored power to all Cookeville Electric customers.
Karen Brown with Cookeville Electric’s Energy Services said even though everyone’s back online, they still have some concerns.
“If you are trimming trees near power lines please stay clear of that or calls us so we can do it,” Brown said. “We have had several calls about contractors who have cut into power lines and that’s very dangerous.”
Brown said a number of homeowners will need to hire private electricians to get their services back online. Those residents had their electrical services torn off their homes.
