Three men were arrested on auto theft and narcotics charges after a month-long investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
James Martin Jr. was charged with two counts of auto theft, conspiracy to commit auto theft, burglary, theft and violation of an order of protection. Nathan Mabery was charged with auto theft and conspiracy to commit auto theft. Justin Loftis was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.
Last month, deputies spotted a reportedly stolen vehicle in a parking lot. Deputies detained all three occupants and opened an investigation. The charges stemmed from the investigation.
